The Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque Resort maintains a highly active attitude in the different areas of corporate social responsibility by getting involved in complying with protocols for the sustainability of its existing hotel products and in the design of future ones.
The Group works closely with a lot of charities.
For example, we support local organisations with our on-going donations of furnishings and fittings in particular; our staff take part in occasional charity campaigns in different towns; and Human Resources promotes the employment of disabled people and those in a situation of social exclusion.
Our Drugstores serve to raise funds for different local charities, selling products that they make.
We also have a long-term relationship with an international NGO and we encourage our guests to donate a euro from their bill to support it. Their generosity has benefited communities in five underdeveloped countries, meeting these people's daily needs and even building essential infrastructures such as bridges and canteens.
