Santa Cruz de Tenerife, November 2015.- The Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque (www.bahia-duque.com), company owned by the Grupo CIO (www.cio-company.com), has begun its plan to renovate and renew its coastline area with the opening of the Café Bahía, with new gastronomic management, its renewing activity will encompass the entire coastline that runs along the Playa del Duque, where the Hotel is located.
This reopening translates into a unique asociation of concepts: it is aroma, it is organic, it is a handmade space, a commitment to what is natural, a perfect combination of gastronomy and environment, and which highlights the vegetation, rural materials – such as wood or mud-, and the composition of white and beige colours which make of the place a retreat of peace and sensations. Raúl de la Rosa, Guest Experience Manager at the Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque, notes taht in this project “we have harmonized the inspiration of a colonial café with the aesthetics of the Hotel”.
Another of the differentiating points of this new space, which opens from 10:00 to 18:00h, comes in the form of Swiss chef Robert M. Keller, whose extensive international menu is committed to taste and the quality of the product in all of its dishes. Furthermore, the chance of enjoying a stunning sunset from the terrace with views of the island of La Gomera, create a very unique experience, especially while enjoying one of their delicious aperitifs or choosing from a wide selection of smoothies, pastries, homemade ice-cream, or one of the Hotels signature cocktails.
