Santa Cruz de Tenerife, February 2017.- The restaurant Las Aguas of the Hotel Bahía del Duque (www.bahia-duuqe.com), owned by Compañía de las Islas Occidentales (CIO) (www.cio-company.com), has been named “Best Restaurant in the Canary Islands” by the gastronomic guide ¡Que Bueno! and Heineken.
The award, which was collected, on behalf of the team of Las Aguas, by the chef Braulio Simancas during a gala held last night in “La Carpa” at the Golf Las Americas, will be added to the those won at last years event, where Las Aguas (Best Hotel Restaurant) as well as its chef Braulio Simancas (Best Chef of the Canary Islands) took home prizes.
In the words of Cristina de Juan, Hotel Manager of Bahía del Duque, “Awards like these encourage us to maintain our focus on traditional Canarian ingredients and elaborations as the central theme of our culinary offer”.
