Santa Cruz de Tenerife, May 2014.- The Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque (www.bahia-duque.com), company owned by the CIO Group (www.cio-company.com), has received the Tripadvisor® Certificate of Excellence award which recognizes excellence in hospitality and which is only granted to businesses that continually receive outstanding reviews from users of the world’s largest travel site.
Any property may qualify for this certificate; however, it must meet the necessary requirements and be among the top companies in its field. To select the winners, TripAdvisor uses a unique algorithm that takes into account the rating of the reviews. Businesses must maintain an overall rating on TripAdvisor of at least four out of five points, volume and a recent update of the reviews. Among other criteria, the popularity index and retention on the website is also assessed.
In the words of Santiago Cabré, General Manager of the Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque, “the Certificate of Excellence of Tripadvisor, represents an important recognition for the personnel of the hotel, who work relentlessly to maintain the levels of quality and service that characterizes us. Therefore, we would like to thank our guests for their opinions on sites like Tripadvisor, because their comments help us to grow and improve every day.”
“TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses for consistent excellence,” said Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business. “The Certificate of Excellence award gives top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, we want to applaud exceptional hospitality businesses for offering TripAdvisor travellers a great customer experience.”
