Santa Cruz de Tenerife, April 2016.- The Spa Bahía del Duque (www.bahia-duque.com), company owned by the Grupo CIO (www.cio-company.com), has been chosen by the readers of the prestigious magazine Condé Nast Traveler as the “BEST SPA IN SPAIN”, award which was collected by Ane Ugarte, Director of Sales & Marketing of Bahía del Duque, during the course of a gala dinner celebrated last night in Madrid.
The Spa Bahía del Duque repeats in this category, achieving this award in three previous occasions, 2011, 2013 and 2014. Furthermore, it joins the award obtained in 2010 which named the Hotel as “Best Resort in Spain”.
In the words of Ane Ugarte, Director of Sales & Marketing of the Bahía del Duque, “We feel tremendously proud of having obtained once again this prestigious award. It is without a doubt the best reward to the great effort that our team performs every day to improve and satisfy the needs of our guests”.
Inspired by the exceptional climate and natural landscape of the island of Tenerife the Spa Bahía del Duque offers a unique treatment and ritual menu, based on the natural resources offered by the environment of Costa Adeje, area where the Hotel is located. Marine extract, volcanic lava and aloe vera, raw materials indigenous to the Canary Islands, are some of the ingredients used to develop the most innovative and surprising body and facial procedures included in its treatment menu.
The Spa Bahía del Duque includes 20 treatment rooms, 3 thalassotherapy treatment rooms, 5 outdoor massage cabanas and 2 VIP suites, as well as a spectacular outdoor thalassotherapy circuit, which allows you to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the water extracted directly from the Atlantic Ocean that bathes the coast of the Hotel and which is heated for its use in the Spa.
